Discover Laughter...
Still recovering today from my amazing "Laughter Yoga" class last night and I needed to share with you how wonderful it feels to have such a great outlet!
I must tell you though my recovery is really great!  All tension is not only released but as I looked at any challenge today, I laughed, I laughed with my little girl and played joyfully! Humor and laughter such natural methods of dealing with stress and yet also so underestimated!  Life feels great when you laugh!  Try it! ;-)
Thank you Danielle and Jackie for being such wonderful coaches and sharing your time and laughter with us, your class " Yoga du Rire".
Also thank you maman Vivianne for having such wonderful daughters!
Laughter is strong medicine for mind and body.
Laughter is a powerful antidote to stress, pain, and conflict. Nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh. Humor lightens your burdens, inspires hopes, connects you to others, and keeps you grounded, focused, and alert. With so much power to heal and renew, the ability to laugh easily and frequently is a tremendous resource for surmounting problems, enhancing your relationships, and supporting both physical and emotional health.

Laughter and humor helps you stay emotionally healthy

Laughter makes you feel good. And the good feeling that you get when you laugh remains with you even after the laughter subsides. Humor helps you keep a positive, optimistic outlook through difficult situations, disappointments, and loss.

My Birthday wish...

OK, well its here and this is officially my birthday and I've contemplated most of the day today as to what I would wish for??? And this is what I came up with and here I've decided to share it with you (enjoy your part of it)...
As I blew out my birthday candles tonight (thankfully there were only 6), with my little angel sitting on me (she was anxious to try cheesecake for the first time & she's really into the birthday thing...ahhh to be 9 again!!), I held her tight and closed my eyes, then opened them and wished with all my heart and soul that we all could live our lives feeling this precious love and that the universe brings us freedom of resistance for our desires! 
Big, but a good wish I think and so truly heartfelt and sincere!
So in other words, what this means to me is that I think and feel we need to all
"go confidently in the direction of our dreams and that we need to live the life we've imagined
" despite our circumstances! Not easy I know but I find its really only when we deviate from the place of our true inner desires (what we really want) and when we really get off track, that we are not fulfilled...
Almost like your missing something as important as a body part...unfortunately often enough if you don't live with what you desire to make you happy, the resistance can create emotions that can lead to health issues or other major life concerns...
Seen this happen all too many times in my experiences (including with myself)! Your mental well-being goes hand in hand with your physical health!
Although that being said, also to be
true to yourself and to others is much easier to say than to do
, especially if you've been living covering up memories of stuff best forgotten or other stuff that you've wished away (baggage)... As long as you keep the direction of your dreams, you'll get there eventually!
Not sure about you but as for me, regardless of my circumstances, and whatever life may throw my way (and life throws me some good ones), I try to never stop searching for that feeling of doing what makes me feel best (usually doesn't take much either, I'm a grateful person), and in order to focus on life's positive joys and not those hits that bring you down and out, keep your heart set on feeling good... 
So one of my survival mechanisms is to look for what really captures my heart and gives me that fuzzy feeling... If I don't have that kind of attitude, I can feel despair, emptiness and powerlessness...I prefer the alternative!
All that to say,
focusing on the good stuff and learn from the bad
 and letting go of what could really bring you down...
So tell me, how would you feel when your not living with joy (vitality for life) and have hardship due to not being true to yourself?  Would you agree with my opinion on how to attain positive energy, a joyous life?  What do you do to get into the flow? Please do feel free to share any of your thoughts and feelings, this is afterall an open forum...
Well, there you have it, that is my birthday wish for me and for everyone out there. I truly wish that people could live their dreams and maintain health, vitality and find ultimate love, joy and happiness in life! To realize the contrast of situations and to know that they are only there to teach us that we are going in the wrong direction...

(NaturalNews) Americans spend two to three times as much on disease care as do Europeans, but Americans are significantly less healthy! In a study of 9900 Americans, 6500 Brits and 17,000 mainland Europeans, ages 50 to 74, Americans had the highest prevalence of all in heart disease (18% higher) , cancer (11%) compared to Brits. The differences were less compared with Europe itself but still striking. The bottom third of individuals, according to economic status, played a significant role. Thus, for stroke the economic bottom third had 1.9 times as many strokes in the U.S; 2.08 times in England and 1.36 times in mainland Europe. Am J Public Health, 2009, 99:540.

Let's face it -- MEDICAL CARE HAS LITTLE OR NOTHING TO DO WITH THE INCIDENCE OF STROKE, HEART DISEASE OR CANCER.

HABITS, BEHAVIOR, DIET, EXERCISE are the critical factors!! No amount of medical care or attention can truly prevent DISEASE. SELF-CARE is the only answer. Playing one of my most frequent records:
Only 3% of Americans have the 4 ESSENTIAL health habits:
* No smoking About 78%
* BMI 18-24--0nly 33%
* Eat at least 5 servings of fruits & veggies daily--10%
* Exercise minimum of 30 minutes 5 days weekly--10%
* All 4--only 3%

Doubling the number of hospital beds and medical students, initiated in the 40's because Congress could not pass a national disease care system, did less than nothing for our Health! Spending 2 to 3 times as much money as other countries has done nothing for our health. Whatever the outcome of the current debate over medical/disease care (WE DO NOT HAVE A HEALTHCARE SYSTEM!!), ALL THE MEDICAL CARE IN THE WORLD WILL NOT IMPROVE HEALTH.

At least 85% of disease is the result of HUMAN MISBEHAVIOR. If only everyone would adopt the 4 ESSENTIALS, within 10 years our medical expenses would decrease by 50% and within 25 years by at least 75%.

Health is an inside job, just as is happiness. It begins with each individual accepting responsibility for CARING for SELF. Obesity is the number one cause of disease and of early death today. Smoking is number two. And the Medical System (treating all the avoidable diseases) is number three! If you do not vigorously do the top 4 essential habits, WHEN? And Why Not? All the money in the world cannot create a medical system as good as SELF-CARE!
